Gill Race, who is a very successful head teacher of an outstanding primary school, opened Brighter Beginnings in 1991 and has been providing high quality child care ever since.

At Brighter Beginnings we believe that children learn best through first hand experiences in a safe and secure, loving and caring environment. Our staff team are skilled at tailoring provision to the individual needs of children from birth to five. Many parents opt to leave their children with us for their pre- school education rather than sending them to school at three due to our reputation of success particularly at this stage.

In 2006 Manchester City Council liked our philosophy so much that we were invited to develop the childcare in 5 children’s centres across north and central Manchester in partnership with Sure Start. The addresses are below.
