Welcome To Coneygarth Farm Day Nursery

We opened our day nursery in October 1997, we were inspired to open the nursery as we had three young sons (triplets!!!) and as working parents we knew the difficulty of finding excellent childcare. The farm seemed an ideal place for a children’s nursery, we renovated a large barn which has a viewing area to the working farm and the milking parlour has been converted into a homely baby unit.

The rest of the farm buildings have been converted into an Out of School Club and holiday club, Kids at Coneygarth for children 5–11ys. With the spacious barn, enclosed gardens, nursery wood, safe limited access to the farm and expansive outdoor grassed play area we believe we have created a safe, stimulating and exciting environment for your children.

The purpose built nursery is in a fabulous and unique setting. The children attending the nursery make full use of the 50 surrounding acres of farmland, 3 acres of enclosed forest and large spacious offering a learning experience not found in many nurseries! We promote an appreciation for the outdoor life. On the farm we have cows, calves, ewes and lambs, horses, chickens, dogs, cats and kittens! There is always something to see and we hope to extend the animal side further.
