Welcome To Little Nightingale's Day Nursery

Little Nightingales is a small, friendly, 27-place home-from-home children’s day nursery in a converted 200-year-old cottage. The beautiful layout of the house reflects its former use as a family home, complete with a distinctive fire place and warm homely atmosphere.

The nursery is situated in the conservation area of London Colney and offers a wonderful sense of community spirit.

We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years of age. We offer a number of different sessions and provide an all-inclusive package, which aims to eliminate childcare stresses and everyday concerns.

All of our ‘little nightingales’ are very lucky to have the opportunity to visit the nearby River Colne where many a hungry duck has been fed. The children can interact and experience the beauty and nature of the local community. Willows Farm is also a close neighbour and we offer frequent visits to see our farmyard friends.

There is literally never a dull moment at Little Nightingales. The magnificent skylight situated in the heart of the nursery floods the main area with natural light throughout the day – regardless of the weather.
