The Cumberland Innwas built in a gothic style by Harry Redfern in the early 1900’s,
and is of major historical interest and is listed both internally and externally.
The interior is dominated by magnificent English oak panelled walls and beamed ceilings,
which have been painstakingly restored.
Several seating areas offer comfortable drinking facilities,
with real ales + different guest ales are always available.
Free entertainment every weekend includes disco and karaoke.
Upstairs, with the same oak panelling and ceiling beams,
are two comfortable seating areas offering an authentic Thai Restaurant.
The Thai chef prepares and cooks traditional Thai cuisine to your liking.
For those slightly less adventurous, a full English menu is also available,
including the award winning Cumberland Sausage.
The restaurant can cater for sixty + people and is available for special occasions including
wedding receptions, birthdays, private parties, funerals and wakes.
Evening meals are served from 5pm to 9.30pm.
