Scallywags Day Nursery is based in unique surroundings on the outskirts of Cambridge providing excellent and flexible child care for children from babies and toddlers through to pre-school and beyond!

Our day nursery is Ofsted inspected and is beautifully situated in 4.5 acres of unfarmed land to the south of Cambridge within easy reach of the M11 / A14 and 10-15 minutes from Cambridge city centre. Our spacious surroundings are used to promote the enjoyment of the great outdoors for all our children – babies and toddlers included! Childcare at Scallywags ensures all children experience our unique outdoors opportunities, such as hands on experience with our farm animals, daily visits, helping at feeding time and collecting eggs from the hen house.

Recently, our baby and toddler rooms have been fully refurbished along with a NEW all weather outdoor play area. In addition to this we have a NEW, bespoke tweenie room with ample room for physical activities (when outdoors is rained off!!) which run alongside our usual day nursery curriculum. Pre-schoolers are catered for in bright, light and colourful rooms and great care is taken to ensure that all children leave our day nursery fully prepared for “big” school.

Our unique and flexible approach to childcare ensures happy healthy children with a passion for outdoor life. We have an excellent Ofsted report that we would be happy to share with you.

Our Cambridge day nursery is open Monday – Friday: 8am-6pm (flexible hours can be catered for) for babies & children aged 0 – 5. Scallywags runs Holiday clubs and After school clubs for children aged up to 11 years. All outdoor activities included. Discounts are available; please apply at nursery.
