Stephen has been taking photographs for nearly 30 years. After leaving school at 16 he studied at Jacob Kramer Art College in Leeds, then worked for a local newspaper in Rothwell as press photographer. Whilst working there he completed a two year photographic course at Kitson College, then spent seven years at Yorkshire Weekly Newspaper group as press photographer taking photographs for the Wakefield Express, Castleford & Pontefract Express, Selby Times and many other local newspapers. In 1984 Stephen opened his own studio specialising in: Wedding, Commercial, PR, Press, Criminal Injury, Digital Restoration & Instant Passport Photography, plus a retail shop selling photo frames, albums, camera batteries and film. Other services, included bespoke picture framing, colour photocopying, photo processing, digital photo printing, typesetting, design & print are all offered. The business is run with the help of Stephenıs wife Beverley, along with seven other key members of staff. Today Stephen is enjoying his 22nd year of successfully running the business, still creating beautiful wedding photographs, artistic portrait pictures and creative press photography, which is admired all over the world.
