The Helena Thompson Museum, can offer you & your guests the perfect Wedding Day. With a license to perform a Civil Marriage Ceremony, the Museum has all the necessary facilities to comfortably cater for up to 72 seated or 100 standing guests. Every assistance will be offered to help plan your day, from check lists to local business contacts who will offer you their professional advice & excellent value for money. For a full wedding ceremony, the Museum will be closed to the public, ensuring that you & your guests will have the privacy you require for your day. The main hall will be decorated with arched garlands, themed to your colour scheme. There is no restriction on photographs inside or outside the Museum. Inside, you can use any of the exhibition galleries, plus exclusively to the Bride and Groom, the Victorian Room for extra special period photographs. Outside depending on the weather & the time of year, the large maintained gardens offer a lovely facility for group photographs. Please contact for further details.
