| Learning Land Nursery is a purpose built day care provision, catering for children aged from 6 weeks to 8 years old. The Pre-School Room provides nursery education for children aged 3 and 5 years. The environment is designed to encourage children to develop both independence and the ability to be able to work and inter-relate with children of a similar age. Planned activities focus on the Foundation Stage Curriculum and cover the following areas of learning:- personal, social & emotional; communication, language & literacy; knowledge & understanding of the world; physical, creative & mathematical development. These areas are introduced through play activities linked to a theme. Children in this room are entitled to nursery education funding and are taught by a Nursery Nurse, who is supported by a local primary school teacher. All the nursing team are fully qualified, dedicated and caring and have patience, enthusiasm and above all, a love of children. This combination guarantees that Learning Land Nursery provides a friendly, warm, secure and stimulating environment, where both parent and child can feel happy and content.
